About Sean Redpath

I have long been interested in why we are the way we are — what shapes the way we think and act, what keeps us stuck in our familiar ways, and what enables change when it finally happens. Often the desire for change is strong, and yet nothing seems to shift. I am drawn to that gap: between intention and outcome, between wanting something different and not knowing how to bring it about.
In my years working as a performing artist, what mattered most to me was the experience of inhabiting something so fully that it felt real. I have always been especially drawn to Shakespeare — to the expressive power of the language and the depth of human experience it allows — and to singing, which for me has been another path into presence and expression.
Alongside performing, I began coaching other actors — preparing them for auditions, working on roles in production, and leading small group sessions. What I valued most was helping someone move beyond simply performing a part and into something lived and truthful. I still work with actors from time to time, and that same pursuit continues to inform everything I do now.
Whether in the way we use the body, the way we live, or the way we express ourselves, much of what holds us back comes from habits we do not yet see. When those habits become visible, something in our experience begins to shift.
